Los Angeles Compassionate Heart Sangha
About Our Practice
The Los Angeles Compassionate Heart Sangha is a warm, eclectic group of all ages and ethnicities practicing Zen Buddhism in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh.
We vary in our experience with meditation and the study of Buddhism, but share a common desire to engage in mindfulness, compassion and loving kindness in our daily lives. Our weekly Sangha meetings support us in our practice.
Together, we enjoy sitting and walking meditations, read from texts by Thich Nhat Hanh, recite the Five and Fourteen Mindfulness Trainings, sing, chant, listen deeply and share from our hearts.
We meet every Sunday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm PT at the Angel City Zen Center in Silver Lake/Echo Park, not far from Downtown Los Angeles. And we are also simultaneously meeting on Zoom.
Come join us anytime as early as 10:45am Pacific Time!
